According to State Farm Insurance claims data Florida is ranked #7 in the nation for fire related claims on Thanksgiving Day. More cooking fires occur on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year, nearly doubling grease fire claims compared to the rest of the month.
As a Fire Protection Company we are dedicated to keeping your family and home safe. Please remember to keep your fire extinguisher handy during the holiday cooking festivities. Grease from poultry and meats can be flammable especially when heated to high temps. Having a small box of baking soda within reach when cooking is also an excellent way to stop small pan fires.
Have a Happy and Safe Holiday Season!

The protection and safety of our citizens and your employees is the #1 reason we are in the Fire Protection business. Recent news reports that NYC apartment buildings are being illegally subdivided and new construction is not being inspected at all. This type of behavior can not be tolerated in any city, especially one of the most populated cities in our country. If you think a building, residential or commercial, has illegal fire equipment or does not abide by proper fire safety laws, please call the authorities immediately. Losing a life to a fire related situation is almost always preventable.

The city of San Diego is taking their Wild Fire Protection to a new level. That level is taxation. Governor Brown enacted the law in order to save $50 million of CAL FIRE’s general budget by raising $50 million for the department’s Special Fund, which covers a portion of the state's budget to fight large wildfires, Berlant said.
